Raising 20th Century Kids in a 21st Century World of Technology.

Is it even possible to raise a kid in today’s world and have any semblance of the sheltered world of a 20th-century kid?

Sure they’re tons of things about my childhood I might find comical now.  But, be honest with yourself.  Wouldn’t you prefer to raise a kid in a world free of Snapchat…

I bet the majority of you would say “yes” to that question.  There is no doubt that the topic of “bullying” has gained so much attention because of the very nature of the world our kids live in.  Even ten years ago, the idea of a cyberbullying was just theoretical.

Technology is altering kids values.

I suppose in some ways the benefits of today’s digital world overshadow some of the quaint ideas of the 20th century.  But, there were quite a lot of things that were pretty good about it also…

What’s one thing you wish a kid being raised in today’s world could experience from the childhood of a 20th Century kid?
